Position - Social Media Executive (3 Openings)
Job Description
Primary roles are, but not limited to:
* Execution of online research and management of social media profiles
* Online research of Social Media tools
* Execution of online campaigns outlined for a specific client account (e.g. Initiating social conversations, set up and management of a blog on behalf of client, etc).
* Full ownership & management of client accounts assigned (range from FMCG, energy, real estate, hospitality, banking, CSR, lifestyle, etc)
* You will build & manage online relations with bloggers, editorial teams of relevant portals, influencer profiles in twitter, social networks, etc.
REQUIRED SKILL SET
* Candidate should be degree educated up to level of Bachelors in a communications oriented discipline;
* Past experience in communications-oriented sectors (e.g. PR, advertising, DM) – this can either have been achieved through internship, placement, full employment etc;
* Qualification in SEO or SEM would be an added bonus;
* Basic understanding of some social media tools e.g. blogs, social networks (Facebook, Orkut, etc).
* Strong writing skills
* Ability to use all Microsoft tools (Word, Ppt, Excel, etc)
* Ability to use at least one image editing program (e.g. Photoshop®) would be an added bonus
* You should be an excellent communicator with confidence in sharing your ideas, liaising with clients and the rest of the team as well as contributing to the wider knowledge base for WATConsult.com
* Demonstrated use of some use of social media tools outside of work – e.g. have a blog, active on Orkut, Facebook, YouTube etc

Position - Social Media Manager
Description:
WATConsult is currently seeking a Social Media Manager in Mumbai
Responsibilities:
• Help develop and social media and community management strategies for our clients
• Manages client relationship with regards to social media initiatives
• Connects client and relevant social media information to remote teams
• Responsible for the success and satisfaction of the individual client relationship(s), specifically social media leads
• Responsible for client satisfaction, while targeting 100% client reference-ability
• Leads social media and content syndication projects/initiatives to conclusion/delivery
• Creates opportunities for deeper collaboration and interaction and reinforces the client’s status as an innovative participant in the creation of cutting-edge social solutions
• Understands all disciplines enough to provide a quality assurance check of project deliverables and has a point of view of best practices and solutions across functions
• Provides leadership, support and ongoing guidance to members of the project team
• Provides WATConsult’ internal teams with appropriate insight into client’s strategic business initiatives
• Has a point of view on industry structure, trends, initiatives, and issues
• Has a point of view of best practices and solutions across functions
• Provide WATConsult’ Executive Sponsor, Client Partner or Account Director with insights into organizational opportunities for cross and up-sell media, social media, search and content syndication opportunities
• Oversees the development of detailed proposals and statements of work with the support of core team members including an Account Director, Client Partner or member of the executive management team
• Significantly grows the client relationship in terms of revenue generated and account profitability
• Proactively sells and manages customer expectations and communicates project and profit risks to WATConsult team and client
• Helps oversee community managers and their day-to-day activities
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of Account Management experience in an Internet Marketing or Advertising Online Media
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas: business, marketing, communications, e-business engineering or computer science
• Experience with interactive marketing and content distribution: social media, digital media, and search.
• Proven ability to identify and present online media and social measurement and metrics
• Team oriented with demonstrated success working with remote or decentralized team
• Keen sense of creative thinking and problem solving
• Resourcefulness and adaptability: Proven abilities in proactive problem solving and goal achievement through non-conventional methods.
