Overview

We’re looking for a LAMP developer who has experience in handling complex projects single handedly, and also contributing to the entire process of planning, designing, developing, enhancing and maintaining the project from scratch. Experience in job portal or social media oriented work will be preferred.

Your responsibilities will include:

As a Senior Developer at SutraJobs.com, you will engage in product development to develop game-changing, globally distributed Web 2.0 products. These products involve myriad technologies, complex algorithms and the latest application paradigms such as AJAX, SOA, JavaScript libraries like YUI, Jquery, MooTools, Scriptaculuous etc:

You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of a project, including strategy, vision, design, UX, coding, architecture, deployment etc, and will be chiefly expected to deliver clean, testable and well-designed code for the same.

* Leadership: Planning roadmap, designing product architecture, and executing projects as the lead

* Management: Coordinating with vendors/freelancers for outsourced projects, recruitment of new team members, mentoring joinees

* Coding: Working in a LAMP environment to create and debug our web application in PHP

* Coding: Writing efficient SQL queries and Implementing a web service using REST fundamentals

* Coding: Driving enhancement of existing features / functionalities and database architecture in conjunction

* Coding: Development of product and new features

Over and above this, playing the main role in planning, developing, maintaining and enhancing all features on SutraJobs.com.

Experience

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in hands on coding, still in touch with the same

* Experience in leading projects, or important team member in LAMP projects

Skills

* Hands on LAMP coder

* Ambitious, driven, comfortable with a leadership position

* Ability to work independently, a self starter

Education

Engineering Graduate or a Bsc. IT graduate with go
