As a Web 2.0 Designer based out of SocialTwist’s Hyderabad office, you would
require to develop HTML/CSS for SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend products, mocks for
prospects/customers, info-graphics for marketing collaterals, and graphics and HTML
for our website.
You would need to generate out-of-the-box design ideas that have visual impact, are
performance inexpensive and consistent with the overall adopted style guide/theme
for SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend, a powerful word of mouth marketing platform.
SocialTwist, a unit of Pramati Technologies, is a leading provider of word of mouth
marketing and social sharing products. Tell-a-Friend is used by large global brands
including Intel, Sun Microsystems, P&G, Bertelsmann Media, KLM, NDTV, Indiaplaza,
Ixigo, Greenpeace, etc.
Key responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Interaction Designer with creating art assets and resources
• Cross browser ready front-end HTML/CSS development to be handed off to Javascript/backend developers
• Produce commercial grade art assets from abstract concepts
• Required knowledge, skills, and attributes:
• 3 years experience in web frontend or software product or marketing
• collateral design with at least one year in core web frontend development
• Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Dreamweaver
• Good experience in HTML, CSS and cross browser issues
• Previous experience in a large design house or a popular portal or a web based product
• Would enjoy working in a young, diverse team of other enthusiastic team players
• Self-motivated and eager to develop a quality product that is simple, visually pleasing and liked by users
• Continuously think of improving things
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, project details and tight deadlines

Preferred Requirements:

• Exposed to and understands latest design trends specially adopted byweb2.0/social networking sites
• Familiar with best practices in CSS development
• Have experience with Flash and Actionscript
• Have some experience with Javascript and libraries e.g. JQuery
• Love to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and design trends
• Highly communicative and able to interact with customers
• Enjoy fast, agile software development
