As Engineering Manager (10+ yrs exp needed) you will lead one or more development teams and build advertising platforms.
You will get to hire a team of developers, be a mentor to them and foster an effective team atmosphere with an engrained belief in quality and pride of ownership in their work. You will get to learn and work closely with other seasoned “top-drawer” engineering talent on a day to day basis.

You will work closely with product management on requirements and provide technical thought leadership on the solutions. You will be responsible for planning and execution of the complete project development cycle - from design through deployment. We are looking for a result-oriented manager who understands development methodologies, can deliver on-time in a fast paced environment with multiple parallel releases while ensuring that quality is not compromised. You should excel at multi-tasking, resolving issues creatively and possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills as you will need to interact with people within and across multiple teams and countries.
You are expected to be a skilled technical leader who can resolve technical design issues, troubleshoot critical production issues and get down and dirty when the team needs it.

Required Qualification:
• Experience hiring, mentoring and building a “top class” team.
• Experience with on-time and quality project execution.
• Proven ability to build technical and thought leadership with senior engineers.
• Relevant technical experience and understanding of:
o Fault tolerance, high availability and scalability.
o Object-oriented design, Core java, J2EE/UNIX.
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
• BS/MS/PhD with relevant industry experience managing teams and building complex commercial quality products.

Recommended Qualification:
• Experience with Grid computing.
