Job Description

The Manager, Technology (Java Architect / .Net Architect) will oversee the entire development, design, user interface, technology integration, and site architecture management. Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing technology teams from definition phase through implementation, as well as contribute to the sales cycle. He will be reporting to Sr. Manager, Technology.

Location: Gurgaon (Only)

Key Responsibilities are
- Provides mentoring on best practices and processes. Ensures quality based on experience. Should have in-depth / breadth of experience in Java/J2ee/.Net (Solution Architecting)
- To use deep understanding of OO design principles to create custom software solutions or modify package solutions;
- Translate the client’s business requirements into systems design; Work with the client’s IT organization to establish technology strategy at an application level;
- Establish high, mid and micro level plans and set technical direction for a team of up to 30 people;
- Lead the estimation effort for projects and work to identify and manage risk;
- include guiding the design, user interface, and technology integration of projects, interfacing with client’s technology and management teams, and gathering information on enterprise-wide trends

Job Requirements:

- Minimum of 8 – 10 yrs of experience, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required;
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in (Java / J2ee/ .Net) enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation, and/or interactive design;
- Understanding of the project life cycle process to effectively be able to manage a sub-team through the complexities of the business solution;
- Prior experience in a consulting firm preferred;
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
