Marketing Manager:

An exciting opportunity for intrepid marketing professionals for a growing Bangalore based news magazine (online, print and mobile) with a social responsibility. Citizen Matters (www.citizenmatters.in) is a Bangalore-focused, citizen-oriented, newsmagazine covering city public affairs, community and culture.

We are looking for a bright individual with at least 3 years experience. Added experience is a plus.

The role will involve:

- Creating and executing innovative marketing strategies for the publication

- Marketing the online magazine

- Print subscription marketing

- Work with advertisement sales team

- Lead the team as marketing and sales force expands

The right candidate will also network with diverse creative and citizen groups (from music bands to environment groups) and contribute content and design inputs from target audience to the editorial/product team.

Knowledge of brand management, media planning, media buying and event conceptualization/management is desirable. In-depth knowledge of the Bangalore happenings and good contacts in related fields is an added advantage.

Spoken Kannada in addition to English and Hindi will be an advantage.
