JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

- Development of new revenue generating avenues and to build business relationships for the company

- Presenting Communicate 2 to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails

- The position requires a lot of travel and the you are expected to be out of office 80% of the time

- Responsible for your own lead generation and appointment setting

- Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; closing of a deal; handover to the account management team

- Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities.

- Attending various industry events as a representative of Communicate 2 and gain new business leads and contacts

- Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation

- A thorough understanding of clients marketing objectives including their Return on Investment (ROI) objectives.

- Responding to tenders / empanelment requests for information in a timely manner

- You will effectively interact with other departments including the account management and technical team when handing over campaigns. You are to ensure that the brief is correct in all aspects of achieving sales objective.

- Keeping management abreast of issues that are arising in the sector.

- Ensuring that Communicate 2 remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients

Eligibility / Position requirements

- Preferably an MBA in Marketing
- 7 to 8 years of business development experience in an Advt. & Media industry.
- Experience in Search Engine Marketing / Online Advertising upto 2 years.
- Preferably from the Media Selling / Corporate selling background.
- Excellent oral, written, organization, presentation and independent management skills.
- Quick learner and problem solver.
- Must have managed accounts worth Rs. 10 crores.
