KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop original content, as well as updating and maintaining existing content
* Conceptualization of innovative concepts for online marketing campaigns
* Develop, write and edit a variety of marketing copy including email and Web site content, data sheets, presentations and sales scripts
* Develop white papers, case studies, newsletters, online advertising and other editorial duties as assigned
* Write compelling and creative copy for online advertising, e-mail, and search engine marketing campaigns
* Edit and produce online marketing campaign elements whilst working closely with the web designers on page layout, content organization and graphics
* Take the initiative to research and keep abreast of the industry and competitors
* Edit all content for grammar, accuracy, clarity, readability, consistency, and coherence
* Technical Writing : understand the needs of the end-user so as to write from that perspective
o Manage a project from start to completion
o Independently research subject matter
o Self-educate through engineering documentation and product use
o Create Tech Documentation for users & for internal purposes/Create User & Training manuals/Installation guides/Online help systems & end-user reference manuals
o Produce customized templates/Collate technical & functional information about product

BACKGROUND:

* Work experience in Marketing/Communications within high tech and/or consumer industries; preferably experience with marketing Service offerings. Bachelor’s degree in English Literature / Journalism and/or MBA required

SKILLS:

* Solid and proven writing, editing, creative and organizational skills
* Minimum 3 years experience in B2B and B2C business writing
* Clear, concise and compelling copywriting and editing proofreading skills
* Self motivator with proactive attitude, strong organizational and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well under deadlines and handle multiple, competing tasks and priorities
* Ability to adapt writing style to target audiences and take and incorporate feedback from a variety of sources
* Ability to quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of our products and customers, as well as our business objectives and marketing strategies
* Team player with strong work ethic and desire to succeed
* Flexibility and confidence to work in a small team development environment
