Job Description

We are looking to hire Web/UI designers (3-8 Years Experience) who bring extensive skills in understanding web marketing and design, application front-end UI development, and excellent visual sense.

The incumbent would be responsible for the following:

1. Creating front-end web design, including designing interfaces, style guides and email newsletters.
2. Building and working with Content Management Systems like Joomla, vBulletin, WordPress/Portals/E-commerce sites/Oscommerce/ or other similar online applications.
3. Implementing W3C standards in browsers/cross platform deployment of sites (XHTML, CSS based layouts etc.)
4. Interacting with clients, creating web templates, developing different styles of design and layout.
5. Communicating with technical staff and modifying ‘design’ based on technical requirements.
6. Crafting a fluid and exciting user experience driven by flawless UI design.
7. Implementing visual sense in PS, AI, Flash and Flex files for the development team to take forward.
8. Working independently to form Product demos.
9. Multi-tasking and effectively managing many complex projects.
10. Providing light design skills with the ability to translate a wireframe and style guide into a production page.
11. Resolving bugs and cross browser compatibility issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

CV’s with portfolios are only preferred.

Skill Sets:

1. Must have thorough knowledge in: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, Image Ready, Flash MX, Flex, Fireworks and Dreamweaver.
2. Should have Exp in Usability, UI, Adobe & Prototyping.
3. Exp with XHTML & CSS2 in Java Script, AJAX, XSLT, DOM, DHTML programming is plus.
4. Able to rapidly develop and iterate through product prototypes and user interfaces.
5. Candidate should have thorough understanding of online designing.
6. A deep understanding of technology marketing
7. Expertise in CSS, especially based layouts that do not use tables for layout
8. Excellent visual sense in designing the right web structure and Flash/animation components
9. Candidate should have experience in cross-platform design, image optimization, web palette and load time management.
10. Candidate must have good understanding of typography, layout and color theory

Important:

1. Expert knowledge in Joomla template and website design.
2. Be a blend of graphic designer and web artist
3. Ethics and ability to deliver the deliverables you promise on time.
4. Understand the marketing-side of web design and UI development
5. Exemplary written and oral communication skills
6. Sound Visualization & Strong fundamentals of usability.
7. Self-motivated, flexible, and team player with strong leadership skills
8. Ability to make decisions in adverse conditions
9. Candidates from NCR will be preferred.

Salary Range

Rs 15,000 – Rs 50,000 per month, higher salaries for exceptional candidates.
