Company Profile - Mercantila is a rapidly growing and profitable online retail company. We are seeking a Team Lead for our Bangalore-based Online Advertising Team. You will work 1:1 with our San Francisco-based Director of Advertising to implement the team’s strategy for dramatically expanding Mercantila’s acquisition marketing. Your success will be measured by your ability to grow revenue and improve advertising ROI across all online channels.

We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience building and managing ROI-driven Online marketing teams for Online businesses with at least US$5 million in annual PPC spend; a ruthless numbers-driven mentality is required.

Job Description -

- Define an organizational structure to that allows you to leverage your experience and expertise across
Mercantila’s advertising team to maximize growth in revenue and improvement in ROI
- Set & communicate targets; monitor and motivate reaction to daily performance against plan
- Manage and mentor the Acquisition Manager to craft and execute strategies based on systematic, repeatable processes to drive revenue and ROI from:
- PPC: Keyword, Price Comparison, Paid Inclusion
- SEO
- Affiliate
- Marketplaces: e.g. Amazon, eBay, Shop.com
- Define and drive delivery of internal or 3rd party reporting and technological tools

Desired Profile -

- Proven experience building and leading and online marketing team with at least $5 million annual PPC spend
- Intimate familiarity with major online advertising channels: Google, Yahoo, & MSN
- Intimate familiarity with major concepts & strategies for SEO
- Extraordinarily analytical & numbers-oriented
- Strategic thinker, paired inalienably with the ability to execute your strategies
- Extreme proficiency & ability to self-generate reports with Excel, Access, MySQL, or other database tools
- Self-motivated, ability to drive results
- Strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
